UMDNJ president: University's assets to be transferred to Rutgers this summer

The transfer of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s most vital assets to Rutgers University is set for July 1, UMDNJ’s interim president said Tuesday.
Denise Rodgers told members of the Senate and Assembly Higher Education committees Tuesday that the governor’s office has imposed that deadline, despite concerns of UMDNJ supporters and plan detractors who have complained about the lack of financial details in the restructuring.
